Instrumental Tuition

It is immensely important to us that all students are encouraged to pursue instrumental lessons. In achieving this aim it is essential that you as parents know the choices available. We sincerely hope that you will find the following information both informative and useful.  BST has a flourishing instrumental program with 15 peripatetic music teachers visiting the Shibuya site and Showa site each week providing lessons in:

Violin, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Saxophone, Ukelele, Drum Kit, Piano, Voice, Bass Guitar

Please contact our teachers directly to organise a suitable time for your child’s lesson.

Students have the opportunity to participate frequently in the many ensembles that rehearse weekly in the department.  There are also opportunities for some students to participate in workshops delivered by professionals.

Lessons are delivered once a week and instruction is divided into three terms of approximately 10 lessons each (to be determined by the school calendar and the day of the week on which the lesson occurs).
