Application Forms

In this section, you will find all of the application forms necessary to register your child with us at The British School in Tokyo. When you have read through all of the information covered in the rest of the Admissions section, please download and complete these forms before submitting them.

Please click here for your complete set of registration forms. This pack includes the following documents:

Registration Checklist, detailing all of the documents required to register your child with our school. These include the following:

Copy of applicant’s birth certificate
Copy of applicant’s passport
Copy of most recent academic report from applicant’s current school
Receipt confirming the payment of the registration fee of 40,000 Yen by bank transfer. Please note that cash payments can not be accepted by the School under any circumstances.
Registration Form. Please provide as much contact information as possible. In the case of those applying from overseas and not yet residing in Japan, please be sure to include as much relevant contact information as possible as it is vital that we are able to reach you.

Information Release Form. This permits us to contact the child’s current or previous school to verify academic and behavioural reports. A short report card is issued to the school and is completed by their staff. All information received is treated as confidential.
Schedule of Tuition and Other Fees. This provides a breakdown of tuition and other fees and timetable of payments.
Year Group Eligibility Information. This allows you to see which year group your child is eligible for and includes a conversion table for the US to UK grading system. Out of year group placement will not be considered by the school and pupils are placed in their chronological year group.
Bank Transfer Details. Please include the receipt of transfer when you submit your completed registration pack.
