Parent Consultations
We have an open door policy; parents are and welcome and encouranged to come in to talk with class teachers whenever necessary. Our formal Parent Consultation cycle is as follows:
Parents and teachers meet formally in November and March, with the focus being on the children’s learning and progress. Parents are encouraged to look at their child’s books and celebrate their progress and achievements.
We operate Child Centered Consultations in March, whereby each child attends a meeting with their teacher and parents for a three way conversation on learning and progress. Areas of development are also highlighted at these consultation meetings.
After each child's annual report is published in June, parents are offered an optional meeting with class teachers.
