Routines & Expectations
A snack, packed lunch, hat and raincoat must be brought each day.
Children need to bring their reading record with their reading book to school every day. Please write a short comment in the reading record after your child’s daily reading to indicate how they got on. Comments are checked by the class teacher every day.
PE lessons are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Y1 children will go to Yoyogi Track on alternate weeks on Thursdays. The weeks that they are not at track they will have PE session in the BST gym. Please make sure your child has the correct PE kit, which includes trainers. PE kit should be brought into school on a Tuesday and taken home on a Thursday.
Spellings are given out on a Friday and should be returned the following Friday for a quiz.
Literacy and Numeracy tasks are given out every Friday to be returned for marking the following Friday.

Please make sure your child comes into school on time. Children can start coming into their classrooms from 8.35am. They must be in class by 8.50am when registration takes place. Your child should be encouraged to organise themselves independently.
Our dismissal time is 3.15pm. Please make sure your child’s class teacher is informed of dismissal arrangements. Year 1 children can apply for an unaccompanied pass from the school office.
