Routines & Expectations
A snack, packed lunch, hat and raincoat must be brought each day. Water bottles are optional.
Children need to bring their reading diary to school every day.
PE lessons are on Mondays and Tuesdays. Indoor shoes are needed for the PE lesson on Monday and trainers for the lesson on Tuesday. The children need to come into school wearing their uniform and will get changed before the PE lesson.
Home learning is given out on Fridays and the children have one week to complete the tasks set. Parents should check the completed Home learning and fill their column on the cover sheet. Your comments are often helpful for assessment purposes.
In addition to the home learning tasks, children are expected to read 10 to 15 minutes each night, and to practise their times tables and spellings daily.
Spellings are also given out on a Friday and are tested one week later.
