Specialist Lessons Information Communication Technology

In ICT at BST we ensure pupils receive a broad and balanced ICT experience involving some discrete ICT teaching but wherever possible, links are made to support cross curricular teaching / learning.

We have sets of laptops which the children use to cover five broad areas:
• Communication
• Research and E-Awareness
• Handling data
• Control and sensing
• Modelling and simulation

We encourage children to think creatively so that the work they produce will have maximum impact and also encourage children to consider which tool or program they need to use to complete a given task and to work confidently with all aspects of technology.
