Parent Consultations
We have an open door policy; parents are welcome and encouranged to talk with their child’s tutor whenever necessary.Our routine Parent Consultation Cycle is as follows:
Parents and teachers meet formally in September, March and June, with the focus being on the student’s learning and progress. Parents are encouraged to look at their child’s books and celebrate their progress and achievements.
We offer Student Led Consultations in April, when the students present to their parents a piece of work they are particularly proud of, and then join a three way conversation on learning and progress with their tutor and parents. Areas of development are also highlighted at consultation meetings.
After the annual report is issued in June, parents are offered an optional meeting with tutors and specialist teachers if needed.
