o deliver the Outdoor Education aspect of the PE curriculum
Objectives
l
All year groups to have a significant outdoor and/or adventure experience every year.
l
Curriculum delivered through the outdoor classroom. Participants will be able to explore curriculum areas through practical “field work” residentials.

Contextualized learning through the use of a wide range of natural settings.
l
Provide opportunities for personal growth and development in a secure and positive learning environment. This includes improving levels of team work, motivation and self esteem whilst at the same time expanding the limits and boundaries of all participants.
l
Cater for the facilitation of life skills through the participation in various outdoor and adventurous activities. In doing so, students will learn to become accountable for their actions and the consequences of such actions.
l
Introduce all participants to a wide range of natural environments and engender an appreciation for natural resources and the need for their preservation.
