The Secondary Houses
Every BST Secondary student is a member of one of three Houses:Bishamon (毘沙門) is the green House. It is named after one of the seven Japanese gods of fortune.
Tsukiyomi (月夜見) is the purple House. It is named after the mythical Japanese moon god.
Amaterasu (天照) is the orange House. It is named after the Japanese goddess of the sun.
Led by Teacher Heads and Student Captains, the Houses battle it out every year for the Farley Cup, winning points for merits as well as in a wide variety of competitions, including the annual Swimming Gala, Sports Day, House Volleyball, the House Speaking competition, the Sakura Reading awards, the charity one-yen collection race, the Japanese Day costume competition and so on. Rivalry is intense.
