The Board of TrusteesSub-Committees
The Board has appointed six sub-committees to monitor and advise on specific areas of the school’s activities. Each trustee is normally a member of at least one sub-committee. The current members and meeting schedules of the sub-committees are set out below. Brief biographical information about the trustees in each sub-committee follows at the bottom of the page.
Non-trustees, normally employees of the school, are regularly invited to attend meetings of the sub-committees.

Education Committee
Anthony Millington (chair) is Director General of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, Tokyo and was previously at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for 25 years. He was born in 1945 and is British.
Natasha Pope is a UK qualified Solicitor and was Legal Co-ordinator setting up the Bridge Academy School in Hackney. She has four children at the school in Years 5,3,2 and Nursery. She was born in 1970 and is British.
Mary Saphin is Customer relations coordinator at Asian Tigers Premier World Wide Movers and was previously a High School Educator for 23 years. She was born in 1957 and is Australian.
Finance Committee
David Hatt (chair) is an Ireland qualified Chartered Accountant and is President, Deutsche Bank Group, Japan. He has one child at the School in Year 7. He was born in 1962 and is Irish.
Takako Davison is a Japan qualified Certified Public Accountant and worked for KPMG. She is Japanese.
Legal Committee
Michael Hancock (chair) is a UK qualified Solicitor and is Head of Legal at HSBC Japan. He was born in 1961 and is British.
Marketing and Communications Committee
Katy Dix (chair) is a Strategy Management Consultant. She has 3 children at the School in Years 6,4 and 2. She was born in 1968 and is British.
