BST HUB - Clubs & Activites

Clubs and Activities

At BST, we provide students with access to a diverse and inclusive clubs programme that encourages them to be courageous, try new activities, develop passions, and unearth their talents.  Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their development through the pursuit of individual interests and the use of the BST Learner Profile.

The BST clubs programme is an essential part of our holistic provision and ‘the BST Way’ where we seek to inspire students with a range of learning opportunities of appropriate challenge that enables personal growth while recognising the positive impact participation has on wellbeing.

Our Clubs

We offer an array of clubs which cater for a wide range of interests across four key areas:

  • Extracurricular clubs
  • Music Clubs
  • Sport & Physical Activity Clubs
  • Language Enrichment Clubs (Primary School)

Extracurricular Clubs

Our extracurricular clubs & activities programme provides opportunity for our students to:

  • BE CREATIVE: Through these clubs students will have the opportunity to explore new ideas, express themselves, and communicate with others in a variety of forms

Activities include, but are not limited to, Drama, Creative Crafts, Embroidery, Contemporary Dance, Photography, Art, and Creative Writing.

  • BE GLOBALLY MINDED: Through these clubs students will have the opportunity to explore different cultures and perspectives, deepen their understanding of our Japanese location, and develop an awareness of the interconnectedness among people, societies and environments around the globe

Activities include, but are not limited to Model MUN, Sustainability, Cooking, Origami, Calligraphy, and Philosophy.

  • BE INNOVATIVE: Through these clubs students will have the opportunity to inquire and investigate, develop real world problem-solving skills and critically think using different technologies.

Activities include, but are not limited to STEM, Minecraft, Lego, and Animation.

We encourage students to balance their choices of clubs. For instance, if you have chosen some clubs for ‘Innovative’ in Term 1, you are strongly encouraged to sign up for ‘creative’ or ‘globally minded’ clubs in Term 2 and 3.
