After a five-year hiatus, The British School in Tokyo’s Spring Fair 2025 made a highly anticipated comeback, bringing together students, parents, staff, and friends for a day of festivities and community spirit. Held on 15th March, the event welcomed 1,000+ attendees who enjoyed a wide range of activities, from exciting games and live performances to international food stalls and family-friendly entertainment.

The fair also served as a platform to highlight BST’s commitment to sustainability. This year, new eco-friendly initiatives were introduced, including reusable cups, composting stations, and sustainability-focused activities. Working alongside local partners, the school aimed to significantly reduce waste while educating the community on the importance of environmentally responsible practices. BST’s Green Team and eCool student groups played a key role in leading these efforts, encouraging visitors to rethink how events can be more sustainable.

Principal Mr Clayton expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the school community.

"The return of the BST Spring Fair has been truly special. Seeing our students, families, and staff come together to celebrate, reconnect, and support sustainability initiatives is a reminder of the strength and warmth of our community. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a success."

The fair’s success was made possible by the dedicated efforts of volunteers, staff, and generous sponsors, whose contributions ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. As BST continues to expand its community events, the Spring Fair serves as a testament to the school’s strong sense of togetherness and its commitment to fostering meaningful change.
