Music clubs at BST range from those for students with an interest in music or a particular instrument to those playing at a high level, such as in the Jazz band. Clubs take place at lunch or after school and there a various events organised throughout the year from the school musical to the advanced musicians` recital where students have the chance to show off their talent.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of sports and activities both before and after school. Throughout Secondary years BST takes part in a number of competitive leagues and competitions across a range of sports, giving students the opportunity to represent the school and develop their skills.
BST also provides other ECAs before, during and after school. A mixture of staff and student led activities, there are opportunities for students to develop their interests and pursue something they are passionate about ranging from Chess to Model United Nations, and Boxercise to Kanji and Kana club.
In addition to our ECA program we run an activities afternoon known as Electives within the curriculum. This takes place on Wednesday afternoon and all students from years 7 – 10 take part. For 2019-20, we're offering 26 different Electives, from robotics to juggling and calligraphy to debating. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves and to sign up to something they have never tried before.
